New Video and Character

This is me!!>>
I have made a new video today and also made a new character. Click here to watch the video. Which that is probably it. I will also talk about the new character, but it is not the featured one as I just made it a few days ago so it never was used until today. I also have some news, may be a little unfortunate.







   Before I get started on anything, I have some news to share. At the end of every post I always post a link to the wiki "Animationpedia". I have some important things to do to it so in the meantime I will not post the link to it until I get some things updated and fixed.

This video I made is called "I Don't Know Why". The song is by a band called "Slade", and called "Come Feel The Noise". The audio I used was just the singer singing and playing guitar, it was not the band. The video I used my new character in it for the first time. I made one error in the horns which the stripes are messed up. It took a little longer than usual to make as I put a lot more into it. This was a very fun video to make. I made very few mistakes and I am satisfied. The reason I chose this song because it seemed like a good idea. I like this version of song better than the original. I chose the character because I thought it would somewhat fit, and might as well use it for the first time.

  This is not the featured character today, just because this is a new character, I might as well explain the making of it. His name is "Keith". I got the name from the guitarist of the "Rolling Stones" named "Keith Richards". This character is a ram with a blue and purple body, peppermint colored horns, and beady blue eyes. I made this character last week so I do not have a purpose for him yet. He is a lot easier to draw on paper than on the computer. He took a little bit longer to draw on the computer than on paper. As of now I do not sketch out characters outlines which is why it can be a little difficult to draw. Overall I hope to use this character in future videos, and he will be a featured character once I get a purpose.

  The featured character's name is "Skull". He is a black cat with red eyes and a poison symbol on his chest. He looks evil, but he is not (even though he was in a video that decided who the most evil was). In the videos he speaks in, he has a very gruff voice. Not much is revealed about his personality. He looks very happy and nice despite his looks. He appears on my channel art handcuffed to "Menace". In "Pepper and Kad" he is a volunteer police officer. I made this character in 2010 like most of my characters. I first used him in "You Spin Me" as one of the characters spinning. I do not remember why I chose him over "Menace". The skull and crossbones on his chest used to be very hard for me to draw, but now I can draw them just fine. I last used him the video "Hahahaha" which was a few months ago. Overall this is a good character to use. He is different from the others as the outlines are white instead of black.

I Hope You Had A Good Easter

This is me!!>>
I hope you all had a good Easter yesterday. I am a Christan and I go to church on Sundays, except I could not go yesterday because I was, and still am, feeling sick. I have a cold, but despite that, I still had a great Easter. I made a short new video today. Click here to watch it.  Although it is late, and I should of posted this yesterday, I made an Easter video back in 2009 click here to watch it , it is when I still made "Clubpenguin" videos, but I watched it yesterday and still enjoyed it.

 The video is called "Evil Laugh". It is a small part of the song "Mama" by "Genesis". I have never actually heard anything from this band so I cannot say I like it or not. The part of the song just says "Ha Ha" in a weird way. I used my character "Cheese" since I thought it would fit. Making the video was pretty simple. Nothing new there.

 I know the featured character probably should be "Candy" which is my rabbit character to fit the theme of Easter, but I did not feel like using that character.
The featured character I chose is named "Liver". He looks almost exactly like Cheese, which is because he is his twin. He did not get damaged like Cheese did so he turned out normal. He is from the same unknown planet as Cheese. In "Pepper and Kad" he does meet Cheese, in the video "The Destruction" he is shown as a baby. He is not shown much at all. Only in three videos, which I just said the names of two. I made this character in 2010. I made him because some friends were doing the same to their characters. I chose the name "Liver" because liver is a food item. Same with cheese. He is what Cheese would of looked like if he had not been hurt.

A New Video Yesterday

I have uploaded a brand new video yesterday. Click here to watch it. I am starting to think about getting new video ideas so there can be some more variety. However, I am still out of an animation program.

 The video is called "I'm Cool". The song is by "Joe Walsh" and is called "Life's Been Good". The video is really short and made with paper. The camera is shaky because the stand I made for it is not working like how it should. I should probably use another camera that does not have such an awkward shape to it. I chose that song because I hear a lot. The song itself is mostly guitar solos. The lyrics are actually pretty funny which is why I chose it. Making the video was simple. I just drew on a note card and animated from there. Making this video was a lot quicker and more enjoyable than other videos. If you cannot understand what the guy is saying in the video, he says "Everyone says I'm cool".

  The featured character does not really have a name. He is plain white with some stripes and that is it. I first used this character in 2010. In 2010 up until 2013 he was drawn just plain white. I added the stripes in the video "Dumb Ways To Die" because the character looked too plain. He first appears in the video "Invasion" which is a (horrible) Pepper and Kad video. He just gets shot by aliens in that one. Then he appears in "The Rage" being beat up by everyone. He never spoke before. I use this character a lot in recent times. As you can see by looking at the section above about my last video, he last appeared in that one. I made this character just for the "Invasion" video for the shooting scene, but I kept using it after that. The stripes, like I said, was to make the character less bland, and I did not put much thought into it. His stripes also do not move and are pretty much stationary, except for the arms. Overall this is probably the easiest character to draw and animate, and I enjoy using it.

5 Years!

This is me!!>>
Today, April 3rd 2014, is an important day. It has been five years since I uploaded my first video. I joined in November of 2008, but it was in April that I actually made a video. Click here to watch my first video. I also made a short video for today, and I will post it here on the blog. For the video, I will do a very brief commentary on the video I just uploaded today, but mainly focus on my first.

 It has been five years since I started Youtube, five years since I started blogging, and five years since I made my first video. Even though "Funny Randoms" is called my first video, it actually is not. It is my first video on Youtube. Not even my first video on the internet, in March 2009 I uploaded a video to this very blog. Click here for the post. It is at the very bottom. For Youtube anyways, it is the video that started everything. It is a half a decade old, so it is not the best quality, so keep that in mind.

   My first video is called "Funny Randoms". As I cleared above, it is not my first video I ever made, most of my videos before this were never uploaded, but one of them squeezed into an old blog post. I did not know how to upload videos to Youtube so it took a little bit to figure it out. I made the video using "CamStudio" and Movie Maker. I still use both to this day. I did the filming all around Clubpenguin, then I put into Movie Maker and added a bunch of sound effects that I collected from a website. It was the only video with actual editing up until "Explosions Make Madness". So all of my videos (including animations) were done without any editing at all. In only 2 weeks I had reached 100 views on the video, it was my highest viewed video for a long time. Even longer, it got over a hundred views in the shortest amount of time (Ghost Fog Sound effect 2 beat that by getting 1,000 in a short amount of time). Making the video was fun. Even though it is not all that funny, or has good editing, I still like to watch it every now and then.
   If you want to know how I made animations without any sort of editing, it was a very complicated task.

  The video I made today was a very short video. The video is the one included in this post. It did not take long to make. The song used in it is by "Boston" and it is the guitar solo for "Let Me Take You Home Tonight".  That is about it.

  The featured character is "Pepper". This character has been used on most of my videos since I started animation. He is a blue tiger (even though he does not look too much like one). His best friend is "Kad". He has a girlfriend named "Kintha". He along with "Kad" are the main characters in "Pepper and Kad". He and Kad are also main characters in "The Blob Forest". His personality is most similar to mine. He likes to hang out with his friends and have fun, and especially fight aliens. Pepper first appeared in my video "Be Alive". But he probably appeared in the "Blob Forest" first, the video is not up at the moment. I made this character in April 2010. The reason being is that "Suasage" started making animations, and for fun I drew a character of my own. The first picture is on my first computer which sadly does not work anymore, it might be possible to get the picture back, but I am not too sure. I got the name "Pepper" from Suasage too. I was very hesitant to take the name as I already made a character named "Peppers" with the "s" at the end (I never used the character on my channel before and never will). Pepper was my first character that I drew for my animations. The last video I used him on was last week. Pepper is the character I got the most feedback from. Overall Pepper is an awesome character to draw and use. He is voiced by me. In "Pepper and Kad" he sounded very different in comparison to my newer video where he talks in. This is due to my voice getting deeper. The series "Pepper and Kad" is on indefinite hiatus, which means it could come back at any time and it is not necessarily canceled, but as of now I am not planning on making a "Pepper and Kad" any time soon.

April Fools!

I just discovered that my first post was on March 21st in 2009, which makes this blog five years old. I also made a funny video today to fit the theme of the holiday. Click here to watch it. But first there is something that I would like to point out.





    One thing I would like to say before I talk about the video is about my channel. I was at my channel and I glanced at the little box that said "Related Channels". All of them were channels belonging to "furries". I do not like that as I am Not a furry in any way. I do not have a "fursona" or anything of that sort. I do not want to dress as an animal or make up anthropomorphic characters. Be sure to read this twice and very closely as I do not want to be mistaken for a "furry". Also, I have no idea who any of those supposedly "related" channels are except for the fact that they are furries.

   The video I made today has a weird title. It is to the song "D'yer Mak'er" by "Led Zeppelin". This video ruined my life. Just kidding, actually this video was very fun to make. On Valentine's day the video was "Rocketer" singing about how much he loves his new girlfriend. In this video he is singing about how he does not want her to leave. After that part it goes into a slideshow like the Valentine's one. This was the fun part as to see how far I can push the facial expressions. It has a picture of him reading letters, angry because of them, and depressed because of them. The last being funny to draw as he took the depression to quickly. Then it has him chasing the girl who has grown legs on her torso. The last bit is him begging her to not leave him, she then turns at him which makes him happy, but she punches him the face. The idea for this video came suddenly. I knew I should make a video today, but I did not know what, and while looking at the suggested videos on Youtube, the song "D'yer Mak'er" was recommended.

  The featured character is named "Jiggly". Today is April first, so I decided to choose a "funny character" (which actually is more annoying than funny). He is goblin that dresses up like a ninja. The only thing showing is his large eyes. I do not know when I made this character. 2010 would probably be it. Somewhere in April 2010 I drew "Pepper" for the first time, after that I drew on a sheet of paper a whole bunch of characters that just about all of them I still use. I also drew on another piece of paper at a friend's house some more characters, this one (and Menace) were among them. He first appeared in the "Blob Forest" (same series in which Pepper and Kad were introduced). He joined the travelers after he wed the two characters "Lily" and "Sunset". He has a deep gravelly voice (just like Cheese does) as is annoying. He is annoying as he will out of no where blurt out something. In early 2010 I used an "XP" computer. I developed a very convenient way of making videos, but, in early 2011 I got a new computer and that system I developed did not work nearly as well and was almost impossible. I did make some very simple videos that did not require having to use too much work. They were "songs". There was the "Pizza song", "The Burrito Song", and "The Cracker Song". All 3 of them suck by the way. In these songs I used Jiggly as the character singing them. Soon after making that video I used another person's computer for making videos throughout the remainder of 2011 and early 2012. I have not used Jiggly for awhile, but he is another fun character to draw and voice.
