This is me!!>>
7 years. 2,555 days... That's a pretty long time. 7 years ago from this day (November 26) I joined YouTube. Now, I didn't actually make a video until April of 2009, however, I did create the channel which would host all of the videos that I make. I might as well give you all insight on why I joined in the first place. Gather around people, it's story time!
I didn't know really anything about YouTube until somewhere around 2007 when my best friend introduced me to it.At first all we did was watch "try not to laugh" challenges and other hilarious videos. It wasn't until February of 2008 when I started playing a game known as Club Penguin and met a guy on there that gave me the idea to start making videos. You see, ever since I can remember I've had a crazy imagination. However, I didn't have much of an outlet for it. I hadn't really known the internet yet. I would spend hours writing dozens of children's books on the floor my living room with my sister. Once I got my first computer and I discovered Microsoft Office is when I started typing out even longer books with chapters and the whole nine yards. I also had a passion for cartoons. I remember once late at night when I was about six, and I had an idea for a TV show, we ran out of paper, so I was forced to illustrate everything on blank envelopes and I showed them to my sister voicing and narrating the pictures. Eventually I would draw out my characters in MS Paint and combined a bunch of images that I drew into a sort of a power point and narrate it to my sister to conserve paper. Quite a few of these characters I still use to this day. I would spend all day at school scheming on what I would do next whenever I had all of my work done (pretty much the entire day). One summer in 2008 I started watching more and more YouTube videos, this time ranging from Club Penguin to legos to animations. I didn't have an account at that time so I simply pondered and debated whether I should make an account or not. I went through the pros and cons up until November in which I decided to just go ahead and make an account. Knowing I didn't have any equipment to record anything of my own, I just commented on videos up until late March when I found out ways to record. After making several videos, but not being satisfied with any of them, I finally settled on creating one which would go to YouTube. That marked the beginning of everything that I've had done. To this day my passion for making videos have never stopped. Despite maturing and becoming more focused and dedicated, I still have the same imagination and that has been nothing but beneficial.
